Capacity Building Distribution Statistics throughout BPS North Sulawesi Province

Friday, 11 December 2020 Distribution Statistics Division, BPS North Sulawesi Province conducted Distribution Statistics Capacity Building activities throughout BPS North Sulawesi Province. This activity is one of the BPS steps to increase the capacity of friends in the Distributions of Districts / Cities in North Sulawesi, of course with the aim of maintaining and improving the quality of the data that will be generated.

The activity which was carried out at the Hotel Mercure, Tateli, Minahasa lasted for 2 effective days with 24 participants from districts / cities, 9 participants from the Provincial BPS and 2 committees. Mr. Marthedy M. Tenggehi as Head of the Distribution Statistics Division officially opened this activity. "I really hope, despite the myriad of jobs that are faced by you in their respective regions, all of you can improve your technical and analyst skills in utilizing all the field data that you get" - said Mr Marthedy.

Material on the first day was presented by the Head of the HK and HPB Statistics Section and the Head of the Trade and Service Statistics Section. On the second day, it was continued with material from the Head of the Financial Statistics Section and HP. Participants also took part in Quizzes and Ice Breaking activities.

This activity was officially closed by Mrs. Norma Olga F Regar as Plt. Head of the Central Statistics Agency of North Sulawesi Province. In her closing remarks, Mrs. Norma hopes that the material that has been conveyed over the past few days can be applied at the Regency / City BPS. Apart from the technical side, both concepts and definitions must be strengthened, as well as giving advice to all participants in order to be able to arrange strategies for the completion of distribution surveys in the future.
