Abstract

Manado City inflation in February 2018 was due to the rise in some consumer price indexes in the expenditure group except food, beverage, cigarette and tobacco expenditures, and transportation, communications and financial services. With each percentage change in expenditure index, ie food expenditure group by 2.65 percent, food, beverage, cigarette & tobacco group by 0.02 percent, housing, water, electricity, gas & fuel 0.09 percent, clothing spending by 0.19 percent, transportation, communication and financial services group by -0.60 percent, while health expenditure and education, recreation and sports spending groups did not show change or stable.
