Abstract

Farmers' Exchange Rate (NTP) in North Sulawesi in September 2022 fell by 1.34 percent and became 107.82 compared to August which was still 109.28. The decline in FTT came from two sides, in terms of the Price Index received by Farmers (It) which decreased by 0.71 percent and the Price Index paid by Farmers (Ib) which rose 0.63 percent.

NTP both YTD (calendar year) and YoY (year to year) shows a downward trend. Based on YTD it fell to reach 2.44 percent, and YoY it fell 1.48 percent.

The Agricultural Household Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) also decreased by 3.03 percent, from 110.03 in August to 106.69 in September.

In rural areas inflation was 0.06 percent. Inflation occurred in seven expenditure groups, namely the Transportation group; Health; Equipment, Equipment and Routine Household Maintenance; Clothing and Footwear; Housing, Water, Electricity and Household Fuel; Personal Care and Other Services; and Recreation, Sports and Culture. Deflation occurred in the Food, Beverage and Tobacco group; while the Information, Communication, and Financial Services group; Education group; and the Food and Beverage/Restaurant Provision group tends to stagnate.
