Abstract

The number of International Tourists who came to North Sulawesi through the entrance of Sam Ratulangi airport in August 2022 was 1,758 people, an increase of 4.39 percent compared to July 2022 (M-to-M). Compared to August 2021, an increase of 35,060 percent (Y-on-Y).

Overseas tourists are dominated by Chinese citizens as many as 1,011 people (57.51 percent), Singaporeans 151 people (8.59 percent), Germans 96 people (5.46 percent) and Americans 90 people (5.12 percent).

The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) for star hotels in North Sulawesi in August 2022 reached 41.72 percent, down 1.63 points compared to the TPK in July 2022 which was 43.35 percent.

The average length of stay of guests (RLMT) for star hotels in August 2022 reached 1.77 days, an increase of 0.11 points compared to July 2022. Meanwhile, the average length of stay of foreign guests (RLMT) for star hotels in August 2022 reached 1, 75 days, a decrease of 0.4 points compared to July 2022.
