Abstract

The number of foreign tourists (tourists) who came to Sulawesi Utara through the Sam Ratulangi airport entrance in October 2022 was 1,581 people, a decrease of 27.41 percent compared to September 2022 (M-to-M). Compared to October 2021, it decreased by 19.01 percent (Y-on-Y).
Foreign tourists are dominated by Chinese citizens as many as 755 people (47.75 percent), Germans 190 people (12.02 percent), Americans 97 people (6.14 percent) and Singaporeans 80 people (5.06 percent).
The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of star hotels in Sulawesi Utara in October 2022 reached 47.41 percent, an increase of 5.73 points compared to the TPK in September 2022 which was 41.68 percent.
The average length of stay of guests (RLMT) for star hotels in October 2022 reached 1.72 days, a decrease of 0.14 points compared to September 2022. Meanwhile, the average length of stay for foreign guests (RLMT Asing) for star hotels in October 2022 reached 2. 63 days, an increase of 0.35 points compared to September 2022.
