Development of Sulawesi Utara Peasant Exchange Rates December 2022

Abstract

The Sulawesi Utara Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) in December 2022 rose 0.90 percent to 106.05 compared to November which was only 105.10. Changes in NTP due to the increase in the price index received by farmers (It) is faster than the price index paid by farmers (Ib). The It value rose to 1.95 percent, while Ib increased only 1.04 percent.

NTP on a YTD (calendar year) and YoY (year over year) basis in December 2022 has the same value and shows a downward trend of 4.03 percent.

The Agricultural Household Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) also increased by 1.76 percent, from 103.24 in November to 105.05 in December.
