Abstract

Sulawesi Utara TFR Fertility Indicator is 2.10 which means that only about 2 children are born to women during their reproductive period. This condition indicates that the results of the Sulawesi Utara TFR Long Form SP2020 (LFSP2020) are at the Replacement Level. The peak of ASFR in Sulawesi Utara lies in women aged 25-29 years, which means that there are 115-116 births out of 1,000 women aged 25-29 years.
  • Within a span of 50 years (the period 1971-2022), the decline in the Infant Mortality Rate in Sulawesi Utara reached 85 percent. The Child Mortality Rate is 3.17, meaning that there are around 3 deaths of children aged 1-4 years in one year among 1,000 children aged 1-4 years. The Under 5 Mortality Rate of 20.40 means that for every 1,000 Indonesian toddlers, 20-21 of them do not reach the age of exactly five years.
  • LFSP2020 shows that lifetime migration rates have increased in the last five decades. The lifetime migration rate from the LF SP2020 reached 7.23 percent, which means that 7 out of 100 residents of Sulawesi Utara were born in other provinces.
  • The results of the LF SP2020 for Sulawesi Utara Province recorded that the percentage of the population with disabilities by type of disorder ranged from 0.20 percent to 0.64 percent. The biggest level of disturbance is walking disorder.
  • The education level of the population of Sulawesi Utara aged 15 years and over is dominated by senior secondary education. Out of 100 residents aged 15 years and over, there are around 41 people who have completed high school/equivalent.
  • The percentage of households occupying houses that meet the building resilience requirements in Sulawesi Utara is 94.49 percent. Meanwhile by region, the percentage of urban and rural areas was 95.19 percent and 93.66 percent, respectively.
