Economic Growth of Sulawesi Utara 3rd Quartered 2023

Abstract

The economy of North Sulawesi based on the size of Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) at current prices in the third quarter of 2023 reached IDR 43.40 trillion and at 2010 constant prices, it reached IDR 25.70 trillion.
The economy of North Sulawesi in the third quarter 2023 experienced growth of 5.40 percent (y-on-y). From the production side, the highest growth was achieved by the Transportation and Warehousing which grew 13.93 percent. Meanwhile, from the expenditure side, the highest growth was achieved by the Non-Profit Institutions Serving Households (NPISHs) Final Consumption Expenditure which experienced growth of 12.48 percent.
The source of economic growth for North Sulawesi in the third quarter of 2023 (y-on-y), in terms of production is the construction with 1.59 percent. Meanwhile, in terms of expenditure, the highest source of growth was provided by the Gross Fixed Capital Formation (GFCF) component, namely 3.28 percent.
