Tourism Development in Sulawesi Utara Province December 2024

The number of foreign tourists (tourists) coming to North Sulawesi through the Sam Ratulangi airport entrance in December 2024 was 4,097 people, a decrease of 9.60 percent compared to November 2024 (M-to-M). Compared to December 2023, an increase of 4.60 percent (Y-on-Y).
Foreign tourists are dominated by Chinese citizens with 2,687 people (65.58 percent), Malaysians 356 people (8.69 percent), Singaporeans 173 people (4.22 percent), Germans 117 people (2.86 percent) and Americans 85 people ( 2.07 percent).
The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) for star hotels in North Sulawesi in December 2024 reached 53.99 percent, a decrease of 0.63 points compared to the TPK in November 2024 which was 54.62 percent.
The average length of stay of guests (RLMT) of star-rated hotels in December 2024 reached 1.55 days, a decrease of 0.18 points compared to November 2024. Meanwhile, the average length of stay of foreign guests (Foreign RLMT) of star-rated hotels in December 2024 reached 1, 80 days, a decrease of 0.15 points compared to November 2024.
