The Farmer’s Terms of Trade (FTT) is the ratio of index of price received by farmers (It) and index of price paid by farmers (Ib)
FTT is one of the indicators to see the level of ability/purchasing power of farmers in rural areas. FTT also shows the exchange rate (terms of trade) of agricultural products with goods and services consumed or for production costs.
The Farmer’s Terms of Trade (FTT) of Sulawesi Utara  in March 2025 increased by 0.77 percent to 125.57 compared to February 2025 which was 124.61. The change in FTT was due to the increase in the value of the Price Index received by Farmers (It) experiencing a higher increase compared to the increase in the Price Index paid by Farmers (Ib). The Price Index received by Farmers (It) increased by 4.07 percent while the Price Index paid by Farmers (Ib) increased by 3,28 percent.
