New Issue of Publication of Employment Conditions of Sulawesi Utara Province February 2024

The National Labor Force Survey (Sakernas) is one of the important sources of employment data in Indonesia. Sakernas data has been widely used by various groups, both domestically and abroad. This publication presents tables that describe the employment situation in North Sulawesi Province in Semester I of 2024. The data presented were obtained from the results of Sakernas which were carried out in February 2024.

The target number of Sakernas samples for February 2024 in North Sulawesi Province was 1,900 households. February Sakernas data is able to present estimated figures down to the provincial level. The tables presented in this publication are generally detailed by gender (male and female) and area (urban and rural), and only cover ages 15 and over. In addition, this publication also presents the development of employment data from February 2022 to February 2024 and an executive summary of the state of the workforce in North Sulawesi. This publication has presented an estimate of the sampling error of the figures presented. This figure can be used by data users as a guideline in using the data in this publication.

The publication is presented in 3 (three) chapters:

CHAPTER I Introduction contains the background, objectives, scope, presentation systematics, and sampling error estimates;

CHAPTER II Development of the Working Age Population 2022–2024 contains tables of the population aged 15 years and over which are seen from the development from 2022–2024;

CHAPTER III Employment Conditions February 2024 contains tables of the population aged 15 years and over which are differentiated according to the workforce, employed, and unemployed in February 2024.
