Official Statistics News Release - January 2, 2025

BPS-Statistics Sulawesi Utara Province carried out the release of Official Statistics News (BRS). The indicators released were the Development of the Consumer Price Index of Sulawesi Utara Province in December 2024, the Development of the Farmer's Exchange Rate of Sulawesi Utara Province in December 2024, the Development of Tourism in Sulawesi Utara Province in November 2024, and the Development of Sea and Air Transportation in Sulawesi Utara Province in November 2024.

The Press Release was carried out online via live streaming on YouTube and virtual zoom, delivered by Aidil Adha as the Head of the BPS-Statistics Sulawesi Utara Province.

In his presentation, he explained that in December 2024 the Year on Year (y-on-y) inflation in Sulawesi Utara Province was 0.44 percent. The Farmer's Exchange Rate of Sulawesi Utara Province in December 2024 was 119.50 or an increase of 2.56 percent. The number of foreign tourists entering Sulawesi Utara in November 2024 was 4,532 people. Meanwhile, the number of international air passengers arriving in November 2024 was 10,551 people, up 1.79 percent compared to October (10,365 people), and the number of departing passengers also increased by 8.43 percent from 10,002 people in October to 10,845 people in November 2024.
