BPS-Statistics Sulawesi Utara Province in collaboration with the Financial Services Authority (OJK) held a Regional Coordination Meeting (Rakorda) for the 2025 National Survey of Financial Literacy and Inclusion (SNLIK). This activity was attended by representatives from various related parties, both offline and online.
Participants in the Rakorda included representatives from BPS-Statoistics Minahasa Regency, BPS-Statistics Minahasa Utara Regency, and BPS-Statistics Manado Municipality, consisting of the Head, Head of General Sub-Section, Person in Charge (PJ) of SNLIK, and PJ IPDS. From OJK, three participants were present, one of whom was Budiman P. Siahaan, Deputy Director of OJK for Sulawesi Utara, Gorontalo, and Maluku Utara.
From BPS-Statistics Sulawesi Utara Province, this activity was also attended by the Head of BPS-Statistics Sulawesi Utara Province, Head of General Section, Chair of the People's Welfare Statistics Team, National Instructor, PJ Technical SNLIK, and PJ Administration SNLIK. In addition, this Rakorda was also connected via Zoom Meeting with the Deputy for Social Statistics of BPS-Statistics Indonesia, Ateng Hartono, who provided technical direction and strategies for implementing SNLIK 2025.
In his opening remarks, the Head of BPS-Statistics Sulawesi Utara Province, Aidil Adha, emphasized the importance of collaboration between various parties to make SNLIK a success. This survey has a strategic objective, namely to measure the level of financial literacy and inclusion of the Indonesian people, evaluate the effectiveness of financial literacy and inclusion programs that have been implemented, and become the basis for planning financial literacy and inclusion programs in the coming years.
SNLIK 2025 is expected to be an important instrument in understanding the condition of financial literacy and inclusion of the community, as well as being a basis for formulating more targeted and effective policies in the future.
This activity reflects the commitment of BPS and OJK in supporting the improvement of public welfare through better financial literacy. With strong synergy, it is hoped that the results of this survey can have a significant positive impact on Indonesia's economic development.
