Official Statistics News Release - 8th April, 2025

Tuesday, April 8th, 2025, BPS-Statistics Sulawesi Utara Province held an activity to release the Official Statistics News (BRS). The indicators released were the Development of the Consumer Price Index of Sulawesi Utara Province in March 2025, the Development of the Farmer's Exchange Rate of Sulawesi Utara Province in March 2025, the Development of Tourism in Sulawesi Utara Province in January-February 2025, and the Development of Sea and Air Transportation in Sulawesi Utara Province in February 2025.

The Press Release was carried out in a hybrid manner via live streaming on YouTube, virtual zoom, and was delivered directly by Bhayu Prabowo as the Head of the General Section of the BPS-Statistics Sulawesi Utara Province.

In his presentation, he explained that in March 2025, the Year on Year (y-on-y) inflation in Sulawesi Utara Province was 1.41 percent. The Farmer's Exchange Rate of Sulawesi Utara Province in March 2025 was 125.57 or an increase of 0.77 percent. The ROR for star hotels in January 2025 reached 37.54 percent, while in February it was 36.68 percent. Meanwhile, the number of international air passengers arriving in February 2025 was 11,070 people, up 0.08 percent compared to January 2025 (11,061 people), and the number of departing passengers decreased by 5.65 percent from 11,696 people in January 2025 to 11,035 people in February 2025.
