The BPS-Statistics Sulawesi Utara Province again held the Third Series of Sectoral Statistics Development in 2025 as part of the ongoing development in accordance with the mandate of Law Number 16 of 1997 concerning Statistics. This activity was led by an Associate Statistician, Sih Kawuri Sejati, and attended by representatives from a number of regional apparatuses, namely BAPPEDA of Sulawesi Utara Provincial, the Communication, Informatics, Cryptography and Statistics Service (DKIPS), the Women's Empowerment and Child Protection Service (DP3A), and the Sulawesi Utara Provincial Environmental Service.
In this meeting, several important points were discussed that support the strengthening of the sectoral statistics system in the region, including the use of the For D One application (Forum Data Online) as a platform for coordinating and monitoring sectoral data, further discussion of the Statistics Business Process activities, explanations related to confirmation in the use of the ROMANTIK application (Statistics Activity Recommendations), and discussion of the table of readiness to fulfill supporting evidence which is an instrument for assessing the readiness of agencies in implementing sectoral statistics.
This activity is an important forum for strengthening understanding between agencies regarding their respective roles in organizing sectoral statistics. Through solid synergy, it is hoped that the provision of accurate, consistent, and integrated data can be realized, supporting more targeted development planning and policy-making.
