Sulawesi Utara Economic Growth in the Second Quarter of 2026

BPS-Statistics Sulawesi Utara has released the economic growth figures for Sulawesi Utara for the second quarter of 2026. The Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) at current prices reached IDR 55.20 trillion, while the GRDP at 2010 constant prices stood at IDR 29.60 trillion. Compared to the second quarter of 2025, Sulawesi Utara's economy grew by 5.42 percent year-on-year (y-on-y). In terms of quarter-to-quarter (q-to-q) growth, the economy expanded by 5.53 percent.

On a cumulative-to-cumulative (c-to-c) basis, the economy grew by 5.48 percent. From the production side, the highest growth was recorded in the Human Health and Social Work Activities sector, which surged by 15.47 percent. From the expenditure side, Government Consumption Expenditure (PKP) was the fastest-growing component, rising by 14.70 percent.
