Labor Situation in Sulawesi Utara Province 2024

National Labor Force Survey (NLFS) is one of the most important sources of employment data in Indonesia. Data resulting from NLFS has been widely used by various circles, both domestic and overseas.This publication provides tables that describe the employment situation in Sulawesi Utara in second semester of 2024. The data presented was obtained from the results of National Labor Force Survey, namely Sakernas, which was conducted in August 2024. The survey had a target sample size of 7,599 households. Sakernas August’s data is able to provide estimation up to regency/municipality level. Most of the tables presented in this publication have similar format to previous publication, which is disaggregated by sex (male and female) and region (urban and rural), and confined to those aged 15 years and over. This publication also presents employment data series from August 2022 to August 2024, an executive summary of the state of employment in Sulawesi Utara, and the estimated sampling error of the figures presented. This figure can be used by data users as a guide in using the data in this publication.
