FGD GDRP Year 2019

Wednesday (01/29) at Vicon Room 3rd Floor, statistic of Sulawesi Utara Province with Regional Balance and Statistical Analysis as the responsible party, held a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) for the Preparation of North Sulawesi Province's GRDP in 2019. The FGD was held prior to release GRDP figure in 2019 and aims to improve the quality of GRDP data which is one of the products produced by BPS. The event opened with remarks from the Head of Regional Balance and Statistical Analysis Division, Norm Regar. In his remarks, Norm reiterated the importance of GRDP data which is an indicator of the economy of a region and is data that has always been awaited by various parties, including as a reference for preparing RKPD and RKAKL. Norm also invites FGD participants to be active in discussions so that the objectives of this FGD can be achieved. On the sidelines of his remarks Norma also invited participants to contribute to the success of the 2020 Population Census, which will be held in 17 days online and in July using the interview method. Attending the event were representatives from the North Sulawesi Provincial Investment Office, the North Sulawesi Provincial Financial and Asset Agency, the North Sulawesi Treasury Director General's Representative Office, the North Sulawesi Customs and Excise Office's Representative Office, the North Sulawesi Provincial Public Works and Public Housing Office, the Energy and North Sulawesi Province Mineral Resources, North Sulawesi Regional Division Bulog and Manado Samsat UPTD. The program was followed by a brief presentation on the general GRDP picture from the Head of the Regional Balance Sheet and Statistical Analysis, the GRDP exposure from the expenditure side by the Head of Consumption Balance Section, Moh. Samsodin and exposure to data held by each agency. (EGW)
