Statistics Official News Release - July 15th 2020

(07/15/2020) Wednesday, BPS North Sulawesi Province through the Youtube channel released two macro indicators. This time the official statistical news release was delivered by the Head of the Social Statistics Division of BPS North Sulawesi Province, Mr. Dendi Handiyatmo SST, M.Sc .. The first indicator released was poverty where the number of poor people (residents with per capita monthly expenditure below the poverty line) in North Sulawesi reached 192.37 thousand people (7.62 percent), up 3.77 thousand people from the conditions in September 2019 which amounted to 188.60 thousand people (7.51 percent).

The second indicator released was the level of expenditure disparity in North Sulawesi's population as measured by the Gini Ratio of 0.370. This figure is down by 0.006 points compared to the September 2019 Gini Ratio of 0.376.
