Focus Group Discussion of Sectoral Statistics and Province in Figures Publishing

As a series of the preparation of the publication of Sulawesi Utara Province in Figures 2021, BPS-Statistics of Sulawesi Utara Province carry out the Focus Group Discussion (FGD) Coaching Statistics Sector and Preparation of Publication of Area in Figures 2021. One the purpose of occupations are to communicate, coordination and confirmation of the data will be displayed in sectoral publication Sulawesi Utara in Figures 2021.

In the middle of the Pandemics Covid-19, this FGD was done in a virtual. This activity was officially opened by Acting Head of BPS-Statistics of  Sulawesi Utara Province, Norma Olga Frida Regar, SSi, MSi. She said importance of keeping sectoral to quality data listed in Sulawesi Utara in Figures 2021. The department as a data producer have a role which is very important in maintaining the quality of data sectoral.

On that occasion displayed 2 speakers namely Dra .Ivone RJ Kawatu from The Office of Communication, Information, Encryption, and Statistics of Sulawesi Utara Province and Sumbodo Aji Cahyono, SSi, MA from BPS-Statistics of Sulawesi Utara Province. Dra.Ivone Kawatuin in her presentation explained the implementation of sectoral statistics toward One Indonesian Data. And Sumbodo Aji Cahyono explained the publication of Sulawesi Utara in Figures as the first step for developing sectoral statistics in Sulawesi Utara.

FGD attended by 47 participants was conducted discussion to discuss sectoral data still need a confirmation. Some data sectors what need confirmation among others the data are still empty, the data that the fillings loaded but did not complete, the data that the fillings loaded exactly the same with the previous year, and the fillings data compared with the previous year data has changed a unnatural. By this FGD hoped the department as data producer can be active in improving the quality of their sectoral data.
