Official Statistics News Release - 17th March, 2025

Hello #SahabatData, in February 2025*, the export value of Sulawesi Utara Province was US$ 101.24 million, an increase of 15.95 percent compared to January 2025 which was US$ 87.31 million (m-to-m). When compared to the same month in 2024 (y-on-y), the export value of Sulawesi Utara Province also increased by 44.42 percent. Export commodities this month were still dominated by animal/vegetable fats and oils (HS 15).

The import value of Sulawesi Utara Province in February 2025* was US$ 21.13 million, an increase of 513.10 percent compared to January 2025 (m-to-m). When compared to February 2024 (y-on-y), the import value of Sulawesi Utara Province also increased by 55.61 percent.

The trade balance value of Sulawesi Utara Province as measured by calculating net exports (total exports minus total imports) in February 2025* experienced a surplus of US$ 80.11 million. This surplus value decreased compared to the previous month's condition which recorded a surplus of US$ 83.87 million.
