Abstract

Sulawesi Utara Trade Balance January 2023* A surplus of US$ 60.17 million

Sulawesi Utara non-oil and gas export value in January 2023* was recorded at US$ 77.86 million while imports were US$ 17.69 million.

The largest non-oil/gas export commodity in January 2023* was still dominated by animal/vegetable fats and oils (HS 15), valued at US$ 46.07 million or 59.18 percent of total exports. Meanwhile, the largest imported commodity was mineral fuel (HS 27), valued at US$ 14.26 million or 80.64 percent of total imports.

Sulawesi Utara largest export destination country in January 2023* was China with US$ 16.95 million or 21.78 percent of total exports. Meanwhile, Malaysia became the country of origin of the largest imports in January 2023* which reached US$ 11.04 million or 62.43 percent of total imports.
