Abstract

Sulawesi Utara non-oil and gas export value in May 2023* was recorded at US$ 58.14 million while imports were US$ 22.99 million.

The largest non-oil/gas export commodity in May 2023* was still dominated by animal/vegetable fats and oils (HS 15), valued at US$ 31.54 million or 54.25 percent of total exports. Meanwhile, the largest imported commodity was mineral fuel (HS 27), valued at US$ 12.80 million or 55.67 percent of total imports.

Sulawesi Utara largest export destination country in May 2023* was the Netherlands with US$ 16.77 million or 28.84 percent of total exports. Meanwhile, Singapore became the country of origin for the largest imports in May 2023* which reached US$ 7.85 million or 34.15 percent of total imports.

Sulawesi Utara Trade Balance May 2023* A surplus of US$ 35.15 million.
