Official Statistics News Release - 05th February 2025

BPS-Statistics Sulawesi Utara Province carried out the release of Official Statistics News (BRS). The indicators released were Economic Growth of Sualwesi Utara in Quarter IV-2024.

The Press Release was carried out in a hybrid manner via live streaming on YouTube, virtual zoom, and was delivered directly by Aidil Adha as the Head of BPS-Statistics Sulawesi Utara Province. Also present was Elvira Katuuk as the Head of the Bappeda of Sulawesi Utara Province.

In his presentation, he explained that the economy of Sulawesi Utara in 2024 grew by 5.39 percent, lower than the achievement in 2023 which grew by 5.48 percent. In terms of production, the highest growth occurred in the Other Services business sector at 10.97 percent. Meanwhile, in terms of expenditure, the Consumption Expenditure component of Non-Profit Institutions Serving Households (LNPRT) experienced the highest growth of 10.35 percent.
